our team felt that we needed a service that helps pets maintain a well groomed look consistently. We priced it lower than a full service haircut since we want it to be affordable to keep pets in excellent skin and coat condition. Low maintenance touch-ups are for pets needing the face, feet, and fanny groomed or a light outline trim. heavier trim work and heavy outline trims are considered a high maintenance friend. if you are unsure what to book, don’t hesitate to reach out for more information!

  • This is a trim that shapes the pet’s body and creates great angulation for the pet’s natural body type. We perform a light trim on the chest, legs, stomach line, and cheeks.

  • We are trimming the face, feet, and fanny. It includes a full brush out of the pet to ensure all undercoat is brushed out. We provide leave in conditioners to prevent matting until the next Full Service Groom is complete. It’s perfect for pets that like to mat between grooms or for clients that do not have time to brush in between visits.

These are $10 cheaper than the full service haircut package, but offer a few scissor up styles!

  • For pets like Retrievers, Shepherds, Collies, Newfies, this is perfect as the summer cut! It takes the feathers off the legs, tightens up the stomach side, takes the chest tight, and really tightens up the “butt cheeks” so that your pet does not tangle up quickly.

  • For Newfies, Huskies, St. Bernards, Australian Shepherds, and other double coat breeds we utilize the high maintenance to undercoat rake out the dead coat which “thins” out the bulkier areas. We can also utilize “bulk trimming” in which we remove volume to create a more drop coat look to those cowlick areas and allows the pet to feel cooler.

  • For pets that are growing out length or had a shorter haircut previously, this is perfect to keep the previous haircut maintained for the next 4-6 weeks. It’s more than the face, feet, and fanny trim of the low maintenance. We are scissoring the top line, removing some tangles, and we take more time to scissor the groom to a well balanced look and give the fresh from the groomer appearance.
